Capacitance effect and its principle

Capacitor in electronic circuits is virtually indispensable components for energy storage, it has cut off direct access, AC, block low-frequency characteristics. Widely used in coupling, across the straight, pass tuning, energy conversion, filtering, and control circuits.

1, filter capacitor: connect the DC power supply between positive and negative, to filter out unwanted communication components in the DC power supply, to smooth the DC. Generally use large-capacity electrolytic capacitors or tantalum capacitors, or in a circuit, and other types of small-value capacitor to filter out high-frequency alternating current.

2, a bypass capacitor: AC and DC circuits, capacitance and resistance or circuit on a point across the common potential, set a path for the AC signal or pulse signal and avoid exchange of components due to voltage drop generated by the resistance attenuation.

3, decoupling capacitors: parallel amplifier power between the positive and negative electrodes, prevents formation of internal resistance of power is parasitic oscillation caused by feedback.

4, coupling capacitance: communications signal processing circuits, for connecting a signal source and signal processing circuit or connection between two amplifier's level, to cut off the DC, AC signal or pulse signal, level before and after the DC operating point of amplifier circuits independently.

5, liner-capacitor resonant capacitor: the main ancillary capacitor capacitor in series, small adjustments it allows oscillation frequency range, and can significantly improve the low frequency end of the oscillation frequency.

6, tuning capacitor: both ends of the connection in the oscillations of the resonant circuit coils, play a role in select oscillation frequency.
